LITTLE LEARNERS: 1/2-Year-Old-Class

1 year by Aug.1st  -  M/W/F, T/Th, M-F

Our youngest class is a perfect introduction to school!  For many, this is the first experience away from family!  We provide a safe, fun classroom that encourages your young toddler to explore their environment, as well as interact with their peers and teachers. The toddlers are introduced to a variety of learning experiences based on their individual developmental needs and interests. You will find blocks, puzzles, books, art supplies, sensory bins, and much more. Teachers guide their learning throughout the activities while helping them learn new skills…all while having fun!

BRIGHT BEGINNINGS: 2/3-Year-Old-Class

2 years by Aug.1st  -   M/W/F, T/Th, M-F

Curious minds and active bodies! This program is designed to support an early learner through the use of predictable routines and age-appropriate materials. This class has a high focus on the social and emotional development of the child. The focus for this class is in the area of socialization, exploration, and independence! Teachers will introduce letters, numbers, colors, shapes, etc., as well as encourage children to share, take turns, and follow directions…all while having fun!

MEANINGFUL PLAY-BASED LEARNING: 3/4-Year-Old Class

3 years by Aug.1st. -  M/W/F, T/Th, M-F

A huge developmental year is ahead. Social and emotional skills are emerging as early learners become more aware of the world around them. Language skills and vocabulary will expand. Recognizing and writing their names and letters of the alphabet as well as numbers.  We will introduce concepts such as patterning, sorting, and sequencing. Fine motor skills will strengthen by cutting with scissors, manipulating puzzles, tweezers, etc. Friendships are formed as they engage in group play with peers and develop problem-solving skills. As children develop independence, they will also build self-esteem…all while having fun!

THE SKY'S THE LIMIT: Pre-K

4 years by Aug.1st. -  M-Th, M-F

These classes are recognized in the area for preparing students for kindergarten. We understand that readiness involves not only academic ability, but that social skills and emotional maturity are also essential for your child’s successful beginning of Kindergarten. We teach core concepts and focus on all areas of learning. Kids First will build children’s confidence, creativity, and critical thinking skills through creative, hands-on methods of learning. Our developmentally appropriate curriculum will adjust to meet the needs of each individual child. At Kids First, we incorporate structure and routines to help students develop school behaviors that support a positive learning environment. The experienced team of teachers will go above and beyond to inspire a love of learning!

THE FUTURE IS YOURS: Elementary Prep​

​Kindergarten these days is much more academic than it used to be, and many children enter unprepared.  High quality early education is essential to preparing kids for the next stage of learning and life. This program builds on your child’s earlier learning experiences in literacy, vocabulary, math, problem solving, and fine and gross motor skills. Independent and cooperative learning opportunities serve to strengthen social skills, ensuring your child is ready for their journey in elementary school.  This class will serve as a PreK or K class.

We want your child to leave us being a confident learner above and beyond what is expected. 

Our small class sizes don’t last forever, but they do mean a lot during these crucial years.

WHAT HOURS CAN MY CHILD ATTEND?

Academy class hours are 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Academy Enrichment hours are 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Early drop-off (8:00 - 9:00 a.m.) and extended care (3:00 - 4:00 p.m.) are available.
